Biography

Sharon is a licensed psychologist with a  private practice in Pittsburgh, PA since 1979. Early in her career she used clinical hypnosis to treat trauma and other issues. Since the beginning of being trained in EMDR in 2014, She has used EMDR exclusively for trauma. Her areas of specialty in her EMDR practice and consultation are Complex Trauma, high degrees of Dissociation including DID, Parts Work,  Attachment Issues, and Spiritual Issues (including Spiritual Abuse).  She holds the Advanced Certificate in working with Dissociation from the Institute for Creative Mindfulness. Sharon enjoys consultation in both individual and group formats. She also has a passion for facilitating trainings and coaching the practicum experiences for new EMDR students. She is experienced in the online training model

Sharon and her husband of many decades are blessed with many children, grandchildren and now great grandchildren. This contributes to her warm and supportive style in any aspect of her professional life.

Consultation Rates

  • 1-hour individual or 2-hour group on the basic training level: $60.00
  • 1-hour individual or 2-hours group toward certification:$70
  •  1-hour individual consultation on consultation for CITs-$80
  • A sliding scale could be considered for special circumstances
