Laura Reagan
Biography
I’m Laura, a holistically and somatically oriented trauma focused psychotherapist, Board Approved & Registered Clinical Social Work Supervisor in Maryland, speaker and trauma trainer.
I own the Baltimore Annapolis Center for Integrative Healing, where my associates and I offer integrative trauma and attachment focused psychotherapy to teens and adults. I founded Trauma Therapist Network, a website resource to help people learn about trauma and find trauma therapy, in 2021.
I also host two podcasts – my most well known show is Therapy Chat, where I interview trauma therapists and other specialists in our field including authors and researchers about the best ways to heal after traumatic experiences. This show is geared toward an audience of clinicians but many others enjoy listening as well.
My second show, Trauma Chat, offers brief (5-20 minute) episodes teaching everyone – helping professionals and members of the general public – about trauma and how it shows up in our lives.
I love helping adults who have experienced adversity in childhood reconnect with their highest selves and rediscover their sense of empowerment. I began my career in the helping professions working with survivors of sexual violence in 2002 and I’ve been deeply passionate about helping trauma survivors find healing ever since then.
I use EMDR, Brainspotting, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Parts Work, TIST, Mindful Self Compassion, Yoga Therapy and Expressive Arts to guide you to the root of the problem and access your own innate ability to heal.
Like you, I’m on my own journey of healing trauma. Let’s walk along this path together. Visit my website to request an appointment with myself or one of the members of my team, whom I personally train and supervise, at the Baltimore Annapolis Center for Integrative Healing.
